Don't Be Surprised If You End Up Singing The Blues by Art Paul Schlosser

You made me so sick

I don't know how to get well again

The poison you made me lick

Makes me feel I'm hell again

Drowning from your love

I can't think straight

Freezing without gloves

Locked out of the gate

I never wanted to be

The one you chose

But you insisted it had to be me

Then you just froze

Why do woman reach out for you

Then they change their mind

It's like finally the cage in the zoo

Is opened but now your blind

Right when your about to taste love

You're replaced by a robot

All the fantasies and hopes you think of

Are now just not

But your life must continue on

Without a choice

Because some of the fish in the pound

Hear the wrong voice

Life can be crooked and unfair

Even if you play by the rules

So just note if you really care

Don't be surprised if you end up singing the blues

A Thanksgiving Song by Art Paul Schlosser #thanksgiving #thankyoulord

Thank You Lord on Thanksgiving

Thank you Lord for the Turkey

Stuffed with jewels and baked so pretty

Thank you Lord for Cranberry sauce

What the farmer gave and what the farmer lost

Thank you lord for cookies, cake, apple and pumpkin pie

Help me not to eat with my eyes

There are so many things that look real yummy

But not everything I see will fit in my tummy

Thank you Lord for corn on the cob

Thank you Lord you did a good job

Watering it and giving it sunlight

It taste so good it turned out right

Also help us not forget

Other who may be starving yet

We pray that you would be with them

Give them warmth, food and friends

Death Angel Blues

They call me the Death Angel
I come and you die
They call me the Death Angel
I come and you die
Mothers and Husbands
Often ask and wonder why

Don't mess with me kid
Your number might be up
Don't mess with me kid
Your number might be up
I treat all people equal
I take both rich, poor, weak and tough

You say your not worried
But this could be your dying day
You say your not worried
But this could be your dying day
And how will you spend your money
When your buried in the grave

This ain't no Disco
Life is not really just a joke
This ain't no Disco
Life is not really just a joke
And when I roll my dice
They say that's all she wrote

The Bob Song
